Try This At Home: Super Easy Mango Sauce

For #TryThisAtHomeTuesday we made an easy and delicious mango sauce.  The bright yellow colour reminds us of all the sunny days soon to come.

 

Four All Ice Cream Raspberry Ripple Mango Sauce

What you need:

  • 2 ripe mangoes or frozen mango chunks, thawed (~ 1 heaping cup)
  • 4 teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar

What to do:

  1. Peel mangoes and cut flesh away from the pit.  If using frozen mango chunks, thaw them in fridge and skip right to step 2.
  2. Place all ingredients into a blender and puree until very smooth.
  3. Strain resulting puree through a fine sieve into a bowl
  4. That's it!  Sauce is done! 
  5. Pour over ice cream off course.

We used our mango sauce to top our Raspberry Ripple ice cream. Delish!
